It was exciting to see everyone at our Spring Membership Meeting. Thanks to George S and Roger L for stepping forward to share the new rides and events that they have planned on behalf of the club.
We are especially pleased at how smooth the membership application process has gone. Thanks to Twila at the Manitoba Cycling Association, our MCA memberships are being processed efficiently and regular updates are provided to our Membership Coordinator, Denise D.
Our cycling season has now started. Ride leaders are still needed for our Wednesday night rides. Bob and Dan have done a great job in organizing and planning our rides so as a ride leader you would have a planned documented ride to lead. We are currently putting together some guidelines for Ride Leaders that should make it easier and provide a more consistent approach. This will be of particular assistance to new ride leaders and new members.
I’m looking forward to seeing many of our members on our rides this summer.
