Due to the CYCOVIA event on Sunday Sept 12th the Labroquerie Ride will be cancelled but there will a replacement ride The Prairie Dog Ride on Saturday 11th. There are three options:
1. Start at the Forks at 9:00 AM and ride to the Prairie Dog Terminal, boarding the train at 11:00 AM. The train takes us to Grosse Isle and waits two hours before returning giving time to cycle 25 km on the Prime Meridian Trail. Returning to the terminal and cycling back to the forks. Total 75kms
2. Meeting at 11:00 AM at the Prairie Dog Terminal, boarding the train, do the ride, and return on the train. Total 25kms.
3. Meeting in Grosse Isle and do the Prime Meridian Ride.
People choosing the train should buy tickets prior using Ticketmaster in person or by internet. The cost of the train ride with bike is $25.95. The train leaves the terminal (Inkster Boulevard between Sturgeon Road and Route 90 – Web site
www.pdcrailway.com) at 11:00 AM and returns at 3:00 PM. This is an off road ride.
