La Broquerie - Woodridge Ride

This Sunday ride to Woodridge, MB. starts in the small town of La Broquerie and follows the hilly forested roads through Sandilands Provincial Forest. Traffic is light,  the route is challenging, and the mixed aspen and pine forests are picturesque.  After lunch in the local Woodridge Café, we return by the same route.  Be prepared for some demanding cycling – there always seems to be strong headwinds and stormy weather on the Woodridge ride.   Be sure to contact the ride leader to confirm the starting time and location.

Assiniboine - Medicine Rock

Join the group and take a leisurely tour from Assiniboine Park to St. Francis Xavier via Roblin Blvd.  The ride travels through Headingly and onto old Hwy 26 into St Francis Xavier.  Bring along a lunch and drink as there are places nearby where one can sit, rest and enjoy a well deserved rest.  If we have to have wind, hopefully it will be in our faces on the way out and at our backs for the return ride.  It is allowed on certain occasion.

Birds Hill Trails

It's a beautiful spring day, the birds are singing, the sun is shining and you're just itching to get out in the woods,  Nows your chance.  Jump into your cycling clothes, fill up your water bottle, grab your mountain bike, and join George for a great mountain bike ride in Birds Hill park.  We'll bike the trails in the park from mild to slightly wild and we'll try not ot get too lost   Included will be the Blue StemTrail (piece of cake) and Bur Oak (now it gets interesting).  Don't forget your sun block and repellent.  Bring your own food -

Birdshill Park Loop and Beyond

This ride is a bit more challenging but definitely doable for all comers.  50 - 60 kms in length depending if riders wish to complete the park loop at the end.  Includes good hill climbing and descents as well as long flat stretches.  This has long been a club favourite  and with good reason.
Bring along a snack lunch and some liquid refreshments and enjoy the ride with many of the clubs experienced riders.

NOTE:  Contact ride leader Thursday evening to confirm starting time and location.
