La Broquerie is 60 km or 50 min from the Royal Mint. The fall supper starts at 4pm. The ride starting at noon covers a distance of 40 km. The ride would be two to three hours. Two destinations are possible. One is Ste Anne, the other is Marchand. This is a gravel road ride with very light traffic. If the weather is not cooperating we can switch to road bikes or reschedule the fall supper ride to Sunday Sept 19 in Ste Anne. The ride concludes with the annual fall supper in the arena. The food is all home cooked and the supper begins at 4 pm. |

What you may ask is a sunrise breakfast ride? Well, we meet at a predetermined spot to start riding by 7:00 a.m.. We ride to the top of a hill (after all it is called Bird’s Hill) and watch the sunrise come up and over the horizon. Once we have inhaled its beauty we will then ride some of the trails in the park for approximately two hours. After this, we will go to Pine Ridge Hollow for breakfast and lots of coffee. If you do not have a mountain bike feel free to bring your road bike and cycle the roads in and around Bird’s Hill Park. |
