Here we start at the Leg, go thru the Forks, Point Douglas and then to Scotia Street (which will hopefully be dry) till we hit our destination of Kildonan Park , the Witches Castle and Rainbow Stage (hopefully we won't be "Singing in the Rain"). We come back thru Garden City, pass the Historic St Vladamir and Olga Cathedral, on McGregor, then back thru our National Treasure, The Exchange District (if they are filming a movie who knows you may see J-Lo or Brad ) then down Princess then back to the Leg. |

Join me for this ride and lunch in Lorette following a cycle on the Old Dawson Trail. The route makes use of paved and gravel roads through pastoral countryside heading southeasterly along Prairie Grove Road. Mountain bikes or bikes with hybrid tires are recommended. The Dawson Trail is rich in Manitoba history, and at great expense a renowned historian will be part of the package to provide you details and hopefully a story or two. Assiniboine Park - Headingley Ride
Road conditions permitting, this ride will begin in Assiniboine Park at the Duck Pond. From here we ride the park roadway and trails to connect to Moray St. and onto Roblin Blvd. The ride follows Roblin over the Perimeter Hwy, and out to the Headingley. Here we will find a location to enjoy a late breakkfast or early lunch, your choice, and an opportunity to review winter activities with other members. Since this is the first ride of the new season it usually has a large number of people out and hopefully this year will be larger still. A great ride and just the right length to get rid of the kinks we acquired over winter. Contact the Ride Leader Thursday evening to confirm your attendance, start time and location.
